How about Trying the Art of Surrendering?
Does it frustrate you when you think you've addressed a particular problem in your life, but then it keeps cropping up? What is going on here? For example, I was talking to my coach, Dawn, just a couple of days ago about cash flow. I've done a lot of work on myself in regards to an abundant mindset and just allowing cash to flow into my life. So why do I continue to be challenged with feeling safe and secure about having enough money to meet all of my and my family's needs? On some days I don't have this problem,
but on other days I do. Further, I realize that how we FEEL determines our results.
A fancy way to state this is our vibration determines our results. Everything is about our vibration. So what is that? Our vibration is our attractor factor, and it's goes back to us being made of energy. When we feel happy and peaceful and centered, our energetic vibration attracts pleasant, harmonious circumstances. When we feel depressed, frustrated, angry, and fearful, our vibration attracts chaotic, dramatic and unpleasant circumstances. Knowing this can add more pressure to someone, such as myself, because I realize that putting out an inconsistent vibration regarding any desire, and in my case, money, will create inconsistent results. What's a girl to do?
What are you to do when your emotions feel like a roller coaster ride, and you really want to get off of that ride? I believe the answer is to surrender. I believe there is an art to surrendering. People freak out at this word, surrender. Surrender to what? Well for me, the act of surrendering is surrendering to my Higher Self, which is directly connected to God or Source. Because I know my Higher Self has my best interests in mind, I can be assured and confident that I'm in good hands. Surrendering can be summed up in the 3rd step prayer of twelve-step programs. "God, I offer myself to Thee to build with me and do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of Self that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy power, Thy Love and Thy way of life. May I do Thy will always."
The reason I've concluded that surrender is absolutely necessary to a life of sane and happy usefulness is because I've tried the other way, the ego's way, and it just doesn't work. The ego will try to convince you to believe in fear and doubt and that you are incapable of bettering your life. The ego will try to keep you safe and from spreading your wings. Don't buy into this! I'm uncomfortable half of the time nowadays. I'm not going to let that stop me. I know the answer to my dilemma is to surrender and keep affirming what I want. So when I feel fear grip my insides about money or anything for that matter, I am committed to this art of surrendering two-step process:
1) Acknowledge and observe my feelings. Let them be OK.
2) Ask my Higher Self to help me change my perspective and recite the 3rd step prayer.
The result is that I access that place inside of me that knows peace despite the storm going on around me. Try it and let me know how it works for you!
